You’ve Got A Friend In Me is a community-driven organization under the umbrella of Bible Truth Revival Ministries, a renowned church based in Nairobi, Kenya. Founded to restore hope and empower individuals and families, we focus on transforming lives deeply affected by life’s adversities, including poverty, substance abuse, and under-resourced systems.

The term “Rafiki” in Swahili means “friend”—a person who offers a helping hand, a shoulder to lean on, and unwavering support in times of need. At You’ve Got A Friend In Me, we strive to embody this spirit of friendship and compassion.

Our founder, Jane Mathenge, grew up in Nairobi and witnessed the challenges that many face in a developing country. Experiencing firsthand the struggles of poverty and limited resources, she felt a deep call to act. Her vision led to the creation of You’ve Got A Friend In Me, an organization offering sustainable solutions to empower individuals and families to overcome adversity and thrive. Jane’s unwavering belief in the power of hope and community continues to guide our mission today.
